Optimize existing algorithms for performance and memory usage;
Prototype ideas and conduct experiments to identify strengths and weaknesses in current algorithms;
Perform statistical analysis and data processing;
Collect and prepare datasets for training predictive models;
Develop artificial intelligence algorithms;
Read research papers and implement AI ideas inspired by academic studies.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years with Java SE (no frameworks required). Proficiency in data structures, multithreading, and algorithms;
Programming Skills: Ability to quickly understand existing code, use debuggers, read logs, identify issues, fix bugs, integrate new code, and prototype ideas efficiently;
Education: A technical degree (Physics/Mathematics, Computer Science) from a top-tier university;
Algorithmic Background: Experience in creating and optimizing algorithms for performance and memory efficiency, with a strong understanding of multithreading;
English Proficiency: Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
Nice to Have
Strong mathematical background, particularly in probability theory and mathematical statistics;
Ability to apply mathematical methods to solve problems, interpret theorems and formulas, and implement them in code;
C++ programming experience;
Experience in Machine Learning (ML);
Experience with textual information: RegExp, bash, grep, efficient file searching.
